Fighter Jet Ejection Seat

The ejection seat in a fighter jet has a very simple purpose as to what it does, but is in reality is one of the most complex systems attached to an aircraft. It is necessary to have an ejection seat to safely deploy the pilot of the the aircraft, if it is damaged during battle or something goes wrong during a testing phase. The key components to an ejection seat is a catapult, rocket, restraints, and a parachute.
How it works:
Like any seat, a fighter jet seat has a bucket which you sit in, the back where you lean into, and a headrest. The difference is that the seat inside the cockpit is attached to guide rails with a set of rollers, which projects the seat out of the jet at an angle if needed to do so. If you must eject, the catapult will fire the rollers onto the guide rails, and the rocket will fire to propel the seat into the air at a greater height, so the parachute can deploy. Insuring a slow landing to the ground, to keep the pilot safe once he lands. How you execute this process, is by pulling down the face curtain that is attached to the top of the seat.

Possible Failures:
Could not eject in time, which could result in possible injury or worse. Death.
A rocket could not go off, which would not propel the seat into the air as much. The pilot would still eject from the plane, but it could go wrong.
